Overview

An overview of the main function of the Inspect-On radar. In this picture: we are aiming to Est [1] and we tracked a memory's sound [3], his distance from the listener [4] is between 100 and 150 meters [B]. We can use the PMF safely [C] inside the range [6], but we need to hurry, an enemy is coming [5]

The Inspect-On radar is one of the main support tools for Inspectors.

The information is displayed on a monitor, usually square in shape. The side of the radar corresponds to 50 meters. Below are detailed all the info visible inside the radar.

Compass [1]

Located in the upper quadrant, it is nothing more than ... a compass. A yellow spherical symbol * (absolute position marker) * is brought back to the foreground if you have chosen to trace the last listening point using the appropriate function of the PMF.

PMF Marker [3]

It is possible to mark the position of a listening point by pressing the "F" key with the PMF equipped. The marker will then be visible both on the compass and on the map (accessible via the "M" key). Please note: is not possible to delete the last tracked listening point, but you can only overwrite anytime it by pressing "F" again. For more info about tracking, you can see the PMF page. Once marked, the listener will be marked also in the Map.

PMF Listener [4]

When the PMF is equipped, the PMF listener indicates the position of the listening point. This position, if particularly close to us (therefore within the limits of the Inspect-On), is shown as a magenta dot. It has no real use unless it is displayed within the map.

A red triangle represents the sentinel's visual range. For more info, consult the appropriate section of this guide regarding Sentinels.
